Energy medicine is considered a complementary/alternative method of practicing self-care. It is a holistic approach concerning energies of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies – considering the “whole” of the client. Energy therapy encourages the body to draw upon its natural healing ability by opening up the flow of energy. Energy healing encourages relaxation and stress reduction to promote health and well-being. Energy therapy is a non-invasive natural method of energy balancing and is not meant as a substitute for medical, or psychological, diagnosis and treatment.

Healing Arts Practitioners do not diagnose conditions, nor do they perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. Energy therapy or any other natural healing therapy should not compete with medical doctors and their treatments. All therapies are meant to complement medical treatments.

 

Note: It is recommended you see a licensed physician or licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment you may have and you can make alternative holistic healing part of a complete health care program.

 

My belief about healing is that each of us is his or her own healer; all healing is self-healing. I work with various correspondences to assist you in facilitating your own healing. At all times your healing is your responsibility. My primary efforts are directed to helping you discover, acquire and activate your own ability to heal yourself. When possible, I will inform you where energy may imbalanced in your body and help you to balance these energies. My role is to be your partner in this process, your committed listener, and your guide - all in a respectful manner. I will not advise you to discontinue any medical treatment/pharmaceuticals you may be receiving. Energy therapy work is intended to be in harmony with any other healing work that you undertake, including traditional medicine. Please feel free to discuss energy therapy with your doctor or please let me know if you would like me to discuss any of your sessions with your doctor.

 

Energy Healing Services are offered as part of my practice as a Healing Arts Practitioner and is not to be taken as medical advice but as spiritual information. My energy therapies can involve "the laying on of hands" although this is not required; it is up to the consent of the client.

 

As a Spiritual Counselor and Healing Arts Practitioner, we may discuss the major stresses in your life, your belief systems, health history, and other issues that have an influence on your emotional and physical well-being. These discussions are at your discretion and will be kept confidential unless required by law.

• There are many benefits to energy therapy. No energy therapy/healing can be guaranteed to cure, prevent, or treat conditions/disorders. Brandi Thomas makes no specific claims or promises and it is not guaranteed in any way, the amount of healing is that which you allow.. You, the client, takes full responsibility for acquiring a second opinion if necessary.

• The practitioner, Brandi Thomas, is not to be held liable for any progression of an illness nor any injury nor death of any client that occurs before, during, nor after working with the practitioner.

• You, the client takes complete responsibility for the effects of any actions you choose to take in response to any guidance, consultation, or therapy given.

• It is the responsibility, as a client of Brandi Thomas Energy Medicine and Mind Food, to inform the practitioner Brandi Thomas of any medical conditions you may have, past and present.

• As a Healing Arts Practitioner client and receiver of information and services from Brandi Thomas, you alone are responsible and accountable for your decision, actions and results in life  and by your participation in Brandi Thomas Alternative Healing services you agree to not hold Brandi Thomas liable for any decisions, actions and results that you make or experience due to such participation , under any circumstance.

• A Healing Arts Practitioner protects the clients information as confidential unless stated otherwise in writing. Reporting child, elder abuse or neglect, threaten to harm oneself or someone else, the client must understand that necessary actions will be taken and the confidentiality agreement is limited in this capacity. Furthermore, if a Healing Arts Practitioner is ordered by a court to provide information or to testify, Brandi Thomas will do so to the extent the law requires.

• The use of technology is not always secure and as a client you accept the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text, phone, Skype, 3rd party links and other technology.

• Clients are required to release, waive, acquit and forever discharge Brandi Thomas's  Energy Medicine and Mind Food from every claim, suit action, demand or right to compensation for damages in any future possible claims that may arise out of acts and/or omissions of the client and/or by the Healing Arts Practitioner Brandi Thomas as a result of the Healing intended relationship contemplated by this agreement.
